Replace rear brake pads?

Ok, It has been awhile since I last installed new rear brake pads and I was wondering if some one had a new up to date method for a 2005 Kingpin? Not been able to ride for a long time and it looks like I need to replace them before I go out again.

Well now that I have to get a new rear tire the dealer said he will put the pads on for free.

My 2012 XCT has ABS brakes.  Do I follow the same procedure when replacing brake pads as with standard brakes?
