Sounds like your tuner knows how to tune a Vic....... The cams will only change the RPM's at which the Torque peaks and how long it stays there. I'm not saying don't get them but sometimes I wish I hadn't changed my cams out for the 438's, cause I really need my CPU upgraded to allow higher RPM's to get all the 438's has offer. Do the research and find out forsure if the cams will help before wasteing the money.
95hp/110T is a pretty good out come from no more then you've spent. Compression is will do more for your engine then cams will but changing compression will mean a need for cams also!
I personally think that I have to much Hp/Torque for what my drive belt can handle cause I broke my belt not to ago hammering the throttle, luckly I was close to home when it happened, it coasted to in front of my house so the pushing didn't last to long!lol
Here a pic of my dyno done by Lloyd!
If I had the TT from Lloydz I think my numbers would be alittle higher but like I said I don't think my drive belt could handle it!

sometimes I wish I hadn't changed my cams out for the 438's

There are better cam options than .438s now. Lloydz no longer sells or installs .438 cams.

I really need my CPU upgraded to allow higher RPM's to get all the 438's has offer

Looking at your graph, your power has leveled off/is falling off way before the rev limiter. It is doubtful that you'd gain anything from a rev limit increase. Even with .495 cams in my bike, increasing the rev limiter did nothing.

Compression is will do more for your engine then cams

Increasing compression alone is worth almost nothing. However, increasing compression will allow you to use an agressive cam and keep strong low-end-grunt.

If I had the TT from Lloydz I think my numbers would be alittle higher

The TTI and .438 cams is a poor combination. They do not work well together.

Here is my take on this:
Unless you are going beyond pipes/airbox/FI controller the TTI is not for you. You will be better served by an S&S airbox and S&S download... and save yourself several hundred bucks.
If you are going into the engine for more displacement/high compression/headwork/more agressive cams... THAT is when a TTI intake will become beneficial. Be aware that the farther you go, the more difficult the tuning becomes and you'll want a Power Commander to get that job done... and you'll need a talented tuner to optimize the $$$ you threw at it.

Cams: Unless you're adding compression and a set of cams that can use it, the gains from cams alone (increases per dollar) will be very small.

Rev Limiter:
Unless your engine is still BUILDING power when the rev limiter hits, increasing the rev limit does absolutely nothing.

Thanks HC........ I've done all I'm going to do to my bike anyway, the belts made for my bike are weak and can't handle many more power!
I keep an extra belt at all times......I've only broke one but I was getting on it pretty hard when it let loose. My riding is mostly long trips so I
kind'a take it easy now but I've got the power to pass in a hurry if needed.
A couple of us(4) from the CVCVMC (old members) are heading out to Yellowstone in June(2 weeks) you can bet I'll be carrying an extra belt with me!lol
later bro

BIRD,  YOUR BIKE HAS THE 1 1/2 DRAG BELT CORECT?. I HAVE REPLACED MINE ONCE AND THE NEW BELT IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FACTORY ONE, IT HAS KEVLAR. ANY WAY I TORTURE THE HELL OUT OF MY BIKE AND THE BELT HOLDS FINE SO I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF YOU HAVE THE 1 1/2 BELT. . ALL SO HC I UNDER STAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT THE TTI, BUT HAVE A FEW FRIENDS THAT HAVE STOCK PINS 100IN AND INSTALLED THE TTI AND GAINED 14 HP AND 12 FTQ? . ANY WAY HC I AM GOING TO TRY TO MAKE IT TO THE STRIP ON COMPANY TIME THAT IS LOL, HAVE A MEETING AROUND THAT TIME NEAR THERE SO THOUGHT I WOULD TRAILOR THE PIN AND HAVE A LITTLE FUN, PEACE . KD.  ;)

Yea it's 1 1/2" and the one I broke had Kevlar in it......the ones on the newer bikes has Carbon Fiber which is stronger then kevlar......I work at Dupont (coming up on 37 yrs.)who makes Kevlar and back in the late 70's I worked in Kevlar making the stuff.
I have in my favorites a web site to buy the stronger Carbon Fiber belt that will fit my bike I just don't need a belt cause I have a brand new one in my garage right now.
Like I said I don't ride like I stole it much any more.
Also Lloyd has said that the TT's would allow more air in as my RPM's climbed and the reason my Torque was diminishing was the Ness Air Box and this was while he was tuning my bike....

My belt is 1-1/8 wide and 147 teeth. (Knock wood) I have never broken a belt... But I ride like a girl.
Larry vs Drag Bike

With a stock engine the S&S box is worth about a dozen HP over a stage 1 airbox upgrade... The TTI will make better torque through the midrange, but will require a fuel controller and a dyno tune. Total cost of the S&S upgrade, including having the download installed, will be under $400. The TTI, PC III, and dyno tune will cost you $1,100 before it's over with. That $700 savings would pay for any pipes you wanted...

The weekend of June 3rd... that Sunday... Maryland International Raceway. Heads up V-Twin drag racing at it's finest.
