Victory Performance Ignition Coils. just wondering if any body has used these and what diff do you have. also would you need to remap

jim. let use no what and how you like, and all that good stuff about them. also what is you mods to your bike. also you get the dame  parts. so i would put them on my bike to, if i were a sensei.

Jim, what benefits do you expect to get from these new coils?

well i read and it states.

Hotter Spark
Improves Acceleration
Increased Power
Better Midrange Power .

now get them on and let us no bro.

also msd offers a cdi . but you must cut into the cylinder block to do so . but this will give you full benefits of the coils by doing so. hummmm to much, i think i will stick with what i got. but for those who want to here is the pdf to do so . but i think this is the older models?

I've had them on my bike for 8 months.  My opinion is that if you aren't having ignition problems they won't make a difference.  My dyno's back me up, at least on my bike.  I always do before and after dyno runs whenever I make a change, whether it's exhaust, cams, coils, and even different fuel calibration maps.  The before and after dyno for the coils, on my bike anyway, was undetectable.  But, I wasn't having problems before I changed them out either.  That being said, they are worth the money for looks alone!  I'm glad I got 'em !

well then. i think i will just paint mine fire engine red and take white out and write msd on the one's i got. lmao. thanks david for the info. i did not think they would make a diff.

Just installed the ignition coils. Easy install. No way to test them out until weather gets better.

I buttoned the bike back up, and fired her up. Had a little fuel leak at the gas tank petcock -- cracked fuel hose. After trimming and reattaching everything, The bike fired right up. Let her warm up.  Took her out on the road in 40 degrees, without any dyno readings, all I can tell you is the feel from the seat on 1st and second acceleration was definitely a noticeable improvement for my 2004 92c.i.  The fact that the red coils look cool only helps. Sorry this is not too scientific.
