I have had the Avon Venons on for about 5,000 miles. Verdict? Ride great very sticky. However, in the rain or hard breaking, they will definitely scare you. They stick well, but I have had the bike's read end slide on me during a hard break, and they really do not like rain too well. I am thinking of trying the Bridgestones next time.

For dry weather riding, they are great!! Turning is more relaxed than with the Dunlops.

I use Dunlop E-3s for my Kingpin and Goldwing and I am very satisfied with them.
The make a nice howling sound in the turns and handle well in the rain too.

1) Ride great very sticky.

2) In the rain or hard breaking, they will definitely scare you. I have had the bike's read end slide on me during a hard break, and they really do not like rain too well.

These 2 statements seem contradictory to me...

Should not seem contradictory. They grab, except when wet. The reason the hard breaking slides is when you have to stop and the road is wet. They do not work well in rain. Dry pavement, they stick like glue!
