No way!!! Not as tough as I used to be. Just picked up an 07JP salvage to keep me busy this winter. To rake or not to rake. To get into the engine or not. Decisions decisions.

Sure I'm still riding! Its 76 degrees. It don't get much better riding weather. My only bitch is that it gets dark so early. T minus 20 min and I'll be on the road.

Sorry for  your luck up there North of the Red River.
God Bless Texas.  ;D

Last year road in every month except March and that was because the bike was at the dealer waiting for parts.
I only ask for no snow and ice and for the last several years Michigan has provided at lease a few days each month that meets that requirement. Have gone out for a ride the last two New Years days [whoo hoo] and cheat a little as I take the bike with me to Arizona in Febuary for two weeks where I make an effort to add a grand in miles. ;D

Supposed to get 3 inches of snow tomorrow here in eastern Iowa. Do they make MC tire chains? Heh heh.

OK, I have to come clean with y'all. Wensday it was in the 70's and my riding buddy and I were out and about enjoying the afternoon. That night the bottom fell out of our weather. On Turkey Day it was a high of 40 with rain and sleet and some snow flurries. We deep fried the turkey in the driveway while sitting in the garage beside my bike talking about all the rides we had been on this year and planing next year.

Friday, it warmed up to 50. All it took was a phone call. He said "give me and hour". One of the few times a year we get to put on the heavy leathers and ride around. At our favorite watering hole we run into another riding buddy. A phone call later there was 4 of us. Then out of the blue another shows up so there were 5. We didn't go far but we hit all the local biker spots and found that we were not the only ones out.

Had a great time and for those of you that think it don't get cold in Texas. By the time I pulled in the drive way at around 8pm. It was 37 and light rain. Nothing like snow flurries in your head light to get you in the holiday spirt.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

My riding season is just starting! Did my first Toy Run of the season today and ran into Lorrette(KP) and Patrick(TC) there. I think we were the only 3 Vics in the bunch.

Just finished a 250 mile ride today through the Sierra's.  Was in the 40's this morning when we left but warmed up to the mid 50's.

Sorry we missed you Syd.

I went crusing in WV.  200 miles on Friday and 200 miles today.  It was low 30's to mid 40's most of the time.  Arrived home today and it was almost 50.  Felt like a heat wave.  But I cheat.  I bought a Gerbing on Friday morning.  What a difference.

Before getting the Gerbing heated jacket liner and heated gloves - my cut-off for a long (>100mi) ride was 45 and sunny...now its more like 35 & sunny.  The really neat thing about the Gerbings gear is the fact that you dont need all the bulky stuff anymore.  I'm a big fan!

For those of you thinking of getting the jacket liner or the vest - i highly recommend that you buy them from a local dealer so you can try the stuff on first - it is very important that it fits snug to your body.

now i just need some heated socks and i'll be all set !

The Gerbing gives me a whole new mindset.  I just looked at the weather for Saturday and the forecast is for sunny with a high of 41.  That's riding weather.
