Jim "Earthquake McGoon" McGovern is to be laid to his final rest at Arlington National Cemetery
on 05/24/07. He may have been the first US casualty of the Viet Nam Conflict.
He was a pilot for Air America, and was shot down while delivering armament. He was able
to remain in the air for only a short while and was lost in Laos. His remains were recently
recovered and identified and now he is to finally be laid to rest.
