The PMRT Intake System with the help of some fluid dynamic concepts induces a larger amount of air into your Victory engine resulting in more POWER. The machined velocity stacks allow up to 50% more air to enter the throttle body. The system also employs a state of the art high flow air filter utilized in many high performance race applications. The filter used on the PMRT system is capable of supporting 180 brake horsepower. The combination of the base plate and filter allow your engine to get the air required to operate at maximum power and efficiency. The PMRT Intake System will fit all Victory Models and can be installed with the engine in place. Not only does the PMRT Intake System add power to your Victory but it also improves the appearance by allowing you to replace the unsightly factory box. The PMRT Intake System is for off road use and may not meet state emission requirements. Eproms are available for 99-01 models to accommodate fueling requirements for the system, more air means more power which also means more fuel is needed. Freedom engines should have a fuel modifier installed. PMRT recommends the Lloydz VFC device.

I just put the Eagle Cat on.  Now you have the PMRT!  What is the difference between the two?

Is the PMRT that much better?

I noticed Loydz reccomends the pmrt and hacker pipe with the vfc, any reason why the pmrt over the eaclecat?

From what I have been told, the PMRT induces a larger amount of air more efficiently.

I spoke with dave who makes the pmrt air filter. Here is his suggestion on the maintenance of the PMRT air intake filter.

Since it has enough area to support 180 bhp, i would
reccomend once a year, sooner if in dusty enviroment
and the bike seems to be getting rich running, just
use the included cleaner and follow the cleaning
instructions. i have never cleaned one with in a years
time and they run fine.

Much less torque at lower rpms? I'm not very mechanically inclined, but isn't low end torque good?

The previous post stated that there is alot less torque loss at lower rpms with the PMRT. so, yes. Low-end torque is good and the PMRT helps your bike to keep that torque.

You get one of these PMRTs and a VFC fuel control module and you'll add alot of power at a low price.
