Victory Kingpin Customization
"shared passion, individual style"
It's all about the customization. 'Shared passion, individual style.'
Like everyone else, I have spent alot of time and money customizing the Kingpin. Of course most of the customization is chrome add ons. But there is also alot of custom electrical work -- Signal dynamics brake light and headlight modulators, air horn hookup, and radius sidemount hookup. This required some work but was fun. The next customization I want to try is with the tuning of the ECU EFI computer. This will add performance gains much along the lines of tweeking a carb on a sport bike, i.e. my ZZR1200 which after shimming, synching, and adding a flo-commander, the bike is ready for the race track.
All of the customization mods to the Kingpin to date are documented like the photo you see here. Click on the image and you will be taken to the Kingpin Customization page. Hope you enjoy. As always, feel free to comment and make suggestions.
About Us
After spending the afternoon riding through the countryside on our Victory Kingpins, we decided that we needed a dedicated Victory Kingpin Enthusiasts site to share our knowledge and our ride experiences.
We sat down and drew up a basic logo for this informal group and posted it on the web site. Most folks have liked what they saw and wanted to know more. Then we sat down and said, we need some forums and some basic information for the Kingpin. i.e., Kingpin specifications, brochure info -- not all folks get the brochures. We also decided that we needed an area on new products for the Kingpin. The bike is only 2 years young and most aftermarket manufacturers have not yet started producing custom parts for our beloved Kingpin. Since we also like to do our own motorcycle maintenance, we decided to add a Kingpin maintenace section along with an installation "How-To" section. We have learned alot from others about motorcyle maintenance and decided that we wanted to share this knowledge as well as increase our maintenance knowledge.
We invite vendors to contact us and let us know what is in the research & development phase for aftermarket Kingpin parts. You see, we all have a fever and the only cure is more Kingpin!
We will also review Victory dealerships and service departments. The bottom line this is a free site for Victory Kingpin enthusiasts. You do not even have to own a Kingpin to be a part of our site. "The best part of motorcycling is the experience -- experience which is best when shared with other enthusiasts."
Enjoy your new Victory Kingpin Cruisers site. -- Kingpin Cruisers
